No jiggling and jumping around when you’re using the kneading, blending and milling features. And it won't fall out or go flying across the kitchen bench when you take your lid off and forget to remove it first. We’ve all done that! But now, when you lift off the lid, the new Thermomix® measuring cup stays right there in the lid.
While making sure steam escapes safely from your Thermomix®, it’s also ideal for emulsifying, adding lemon juice (the measuring cup catches all the pips) or holding spices in reserve for later use.

Measuring Cup for TM6
I have had a TM5 for years, and dropped the MC on the tiled kitchen floor many times, and it has never broken. I dropped the MC for my new TM6 shortly after getting it, and the MC broke. So the MC for the TM5 was definitely more durable.
I would also like to see the old-style steaming basket back, without the hinged lid, as I feel it's more dangerous with the hinged lid. Nearly every time I use it, I manage to drip boiling-hot water on my hand. This never happened with the old-style basket.
Other than that, I love my TM6 and use it daily. These are just minor irritations.

Measuring Cup
I ordered a new Measuring Cup for my TM6, as I somehow sent my original one flying across the kitchen, and a small piece broke off! Holding the cup on each time I used my Thermomix was getting tedious, so was relieved when my new one arrived.
