    Not a lunchbox for my boy

    Purchased the lunchbox for my son in June and now in November it is broken. Plastic box base is cracked and plastic bit on the box that holds it close is broken off. Not sturdy enough for my boy (6) who is, I admit pretty rough on things. But I expect from a lunchbox that it can handle quiet a bit.

    I also had the issue mentioned in another review that the compartment for the chill bit in the lid didn't hold close very well.

    It is a generously sized lunchbox, the idea is great, loved the spork clipped into it but the quality and durability could be improved.

    Feedback on Recent Purchase Poor company policy and customer service

    I purchased my first “The Mix” lunch box and two small containers on August 16th for $70.40 AUD. I was impressed with the capacity and the included cutlery, which made it very convenient for my child to take to school. Because of this, I decided to order two more “The Mix” lunch boxes for my other two children on September 6th, spending $119.85 AUD.

    However, after just a few days of use, I noticed that the price of “The Mix” lunch box on their website had dropped from $54.95 to $32.97 AUD for each. This sudden price drop made me extremely uncomfortable. When I contacted their staff to ask if they could refund the price difference since I had just made the purchase not long ago, I was met with an unfriendly attitude and a direct refusal.

    The service attitude I experienced was extremely unsatisfactory, and I am very disappointed with the company’s policies and customer service. Based on this experience, I will definitely not be recommending their products to my friends and family.

    Good little lunchbox… but

    The clip is easy for my toddler to open which is good.

    Love the little compartments and the freezer brick. Unfortunately the lid for the freezer brick comes open and falls out all the time.

    Don't recommend

    Initially the clasp was too hard to open - my 5 yo couldn't open it by herself. However now the clasp is weak and opens in the kids school bags. We have to put a rubberband around each day to keep it together. Disappointing for the high price point. On the plus side it is a good size.
