This is how to clean a pizza stone to perfection the easy way. Our Ovana pizza oven brush and scraper can get the job done in the same time it takes your Ovana to turn out a perfectly crispy stone-baked pizza – in about 60 seconds (once your oven’s cooled of course)! That way you get to relax and enjoy the full authentic taste and experience of pizza oven cooking, even on a busy weeknight. And cleaning up will never ruin all the fun of hosting a big pizza party.

To keep your pizza stone in tip-top condition, we made Ovana’s solid stone base removable for easy cleaning and gave the pizza oven brush strong stainless steel bristles to easily brush off excess flour, plus a pizza scraper to effortlessly lift off baked-on toppings.

The ergonomic natural bamboo handle is extra-long, making it easy to reach into all the nooks and crannies without fuss or the need to remove the stone after every pizza night. We even added a hole in the pizza oven brush handle so you can hang it up in your kitchen to keep it handy.

Cleaning with water is a big no-no for any pizza stone, as it can cause them to crack. So always use your wire pizza oven brush and scraper dry and allow your pizza oven and stone to cool completely before cleaning.

Cleaning with water is a big no-no for any pizza stone, as it can cause them to crack. So always use your wire pizza oven brush and scraper dry and allow your pizza oven and stone to cool completely before cleaning. We recommend handwashing your brush in warm water and mild detergent after use and storing in a dry place indoors, out of the reach of children (that scraper blade is very sharp). Oxidation may discolour the stainless steel bristles and blade with time, but won’t compromise the cleaning performance.

Brush

Great brush that reaches the back of the oven without having to stick your whole arm in. The scraper works great to get off the bits of burnt cheese on the pizza stone.
