    For 25 years in Australia, 17 years in New Zealand — and over five decades around the world — Thermomix® has been more than a kitchen appliance. It’s been part of everyday lives, shared tables and countless moments that start in the kitchen and ripple far beyond it. 

    As a family-owned business, community sits at the heart of everything we do. Our Consultants, Team Leaders and customers aren’t just part of the story — they are the story. From first Cooking Demos and midweek dinners, to milestone meals and small everyday wins, Thermomix® has grown alongside the people who use it. 

    This February, we’re celebrating 25 years in Australia by turning the whole month into a Festival of Thermomix® — a celebration of where we’ve been, where we’re going, and the collective impact we continue to create together. 

    Because while the technology has evolved, one thing has always stayed the same: Thermomix® is, and always will be, about connection, confidence and community. 

     

    Evolution of Thermomix®

    In 1971, the first Thermomix® brought to life the idea of a high-powered blender that could simultaneously prep and heat ingredients. In 2001, the Thermomix® TM21 – now with an integrated scale and innovative Varoma enabling multi-level steam cooking – was brought to Australia for the first time.  

    Those early days started with Cooking Demos being ran from a garage in Dianella, Perth, and sparked what is now Thermomix® in Australia and New Zealand – a part of the global Vorwerk Thermomix® family. At time of writing, over 850,000 homes and commercial kitchens around Australia and New Zealand have Thermomix® on their kitchen bench and some 5000+ Consultants passionately sharing Thermomix® with their communities.
