This was purchased as a gift for or married daughter, with her 5 youngens, and she regularly uses it for entertaining and when carrying nibbles to other events. She loves it! Best gift ever!
The box was a hit at the Christmas picnic table, especially with the clear lid which keeps the food from drying out and flies away.
I would not be inclined to carry it out to a park or beach picnic, it is not easily portable. It is an awkward size and the lid does not seal like the more lightweight plastic containers.
These are absolutely fabulous, it’s really great to have the lid for the platter box so you can see what’s in there but the flies can’t get to it!!
Purchased one and followed the on-line instructions to line the box with Greaseproof paper. Made clean up a breeze. Have used it for both a fruit platter and a cheese and dip platter, prepared the day before or earlier in the day and then popped back in the fridge in the box. Easy to transport both to other peoples home and outside, as the box is cool and keeps the contents cool for a while too. Love the size and texture and presentation feel.
