It only takes a little care to keep your Thermomix® Bamboo Folding Chopping Board looking its best and chopping beautifully for many years to come. Here’s our short and simple guide on how to clean a bamboo chopping board.
Before first use, and every couple of months, we recommended oiling it with an odourless food-safe oil such as grapeseed to seal and maintain it. Cleaning your foldable chopping board is easy too. Wet a soft cloth with warm, soapy water and wipe the board down, dry immediately and store in a cool dry place. Never soak your Thermomix® Bamboo Chopping Board in water, or wash it in the dishwasher, as this may cause it to crack or warp.
So far I very much like this chopping board. It has silicone feet which keeps it stable. I hand wash it with an Enjo kitchen cloth which is perfect and let it air dry. When it’s dry I put the silicone holder back on & put it in the drawer.
The bamboo folding chopping board is excellent as it not only folds away onto the cupboard, it is great for adding produce to any cooking device with the folding option allowing for less spillage, it also dries quickly once washed ready to pack away - and it it lightweight and adheres to the kitchen bench making cutting foods easier.
