Thermomix® TM7 Recognised in Australia’s International Good Design Awards for Excellence in Design and Innovation.

Sydney, Monday 20 October 2025 – The Australian Good Design Awards, one of the world’s longest-running international design award programs, has announced this year’s Australian Good Design Award Gold Winners as part of the Official Good Design Awards Week – Rewarding, Defining, and Celebrating Good Design.

This year’s theme, “Design for Better” underscores the vital role design plays in shaping a more balanced, inclusive, and sustainable world. From reimagining products and services to reshaping cities and systems, the Awards showcase how design has the power to drive positive change for people, planet, and prosperity.

Among the Winners was Thermomix® TM7, recognised with a prestigious Australian Good Design Award Gold Winner accolade in the Product Design category.

Australian Good Design Award Gold Winners represent the top projects in each sub-category – these projects have gone beyond the criteria for good design, and demonstrate outstanding design quality, innovation and positive impact in their category.

Thermomix® Australia & New Zealand General Manager Australia & New Zealand Phillipp Grundler said, “We’re incredibly proud that the Thermomix® TM7 has been recognised with a prestigious Australian Good Design Award. This accolade is a testament to our commitment to creating products that not only simplify cooking but also bring beauty and inspiration into the heart of the home. The TM7’s design reflects Thermomix’s ongoing pursuit of innovation - seamlessly blending form, function and emotion to enhance how people cook, connect and create together."

Jury Comments:
“Thermomix® is more than just a kitchen appliance, it is an integrated ecosystem that seamlessly combines state-of-the-art hardware with a digital recipe platform, Cookidoo®. A bold product format and design full of intriguing features and technology. A well-considered and nicely executed design. The “trophy on a pedestal” analogy is a thoughtful touch, and the material choices support the concept well. It’s also encouraging to see strong alignment between the physical and digital elements of the product. Good example of design maturity and system thinking across physical, digital, and emotional layers. Evolves a beloved product with bold yet respectful refinement, both aesthetically and functionally. Integrates hardware, software, and community in a seamless and empowering cooking platform. A standout example of design excellence. Well done.”
