For some, Thermomix® is a discovery.
For Anne, it’s been a constant — for 25 years and counting.
Anne joined Thermomix® in September 2001, at a time when the brand was still new to Australia and few people truly understood what this all-in-one kitchen appliance could do. What began as curiosity quickly became a career, a community and a lifelong passion.

Getting Started: From first demo to Consultant
Anne first heard about Thermomix® at a dinner with other mums from her daughter’s mums’ group. One of them described a machine that could make soup in a single bowl, knead bread dough, crush ice, chop salads and make custard.
“At the time, all I could imagine was some huge benchtop appliance that wouldn’t fit in my kitchen — and would cost a bomb,” Anne laughs.
Reluctantly, she attended a demonstration in May 2001 — a night she still remembers clearly, right down to what she wore. Twelve dishes were cooked, but it was the moment sugar was pulverised into a fine powder for sorbet that changed everything.
“I was completely blown away. I could suddenly see myself cooking everything from scratch — the old way, like my mum and grandma did.”
Anne purchased her Thermomix® soon after and began Consultant training that August. At the time, she was a stay-at-home mum with two young children.
“I could see how Thermomix® could help mums like me,” she says. “It was the perfect opportunity to share something I truly believed in, meet new people and earn my Thermomix® doing what I loved.”
Those early days were hands-on and foundational. Consultant training was in-depth, focused on product knowledge, cooking techniques and experimentation. Consultants even contributed to recipe development, helping shape early Thermomix® recipe books.
“We were building something new in Australia — and we believed in it.”

The Evolution: Watching Thermomix ® grow
Over 25 years, Anne has witnessed every major evolution of Thermomix® — from the TM21 through to today’s TM7.
The biggest turning point, she says, was the introduction of the TM31.
“From 2001 to 2005, there were incredible foundations, but we could feel momentum slowing. Customers were asking for bigger bowls and higher heat — we needed new technology.”
When the TM31 launched, demand exploded.
“We couldn’t keep up. We ran out of stock constantly and had to wait weeks for shipments. Sales soared, recruitment grew and the business expanded rapidly.”
What followed was significant growth — new offices, warehouses, teams, leadership roles and eventually formal recipe development. Where consultants once contributed recipes themselves, the platform evolved into what is now Cookidoo®, offering guided cooking and thousands of recipes at users’ fingertips.
Each generation brought new capabilities — reverse mode, recipe chips, Cook-Key®, integrated Cookidoo®, browning mode and now TM7’s responsive, intuitive interface and expanded cooking modes.
But through all that change, Anne believes something important has stayed the same.
“Even though the company has grown, it still feels like a family. The consultant journey, the customer connection — the building blocks are the same.”

Her Journey: Why she stayed
Anne has sold well over 1,600 Thermomix® machines, delivered thousands of demos, attended more than 20 Thermofests and achieved major milestones — Club 50, 100, 500, 1000 and beyond, as well as Go-Getter awards, leadership roles and incentive travel.
But numbers aren’t why she stayed.
“It’s the love and passion — for Thermomix® and for my customers,” she says. “I don’t feel like I can abandon them.”
Thermomix® has supported Anne through every stage of her life, offering flexibility as her children grew, opportunities to lead and learn, and a career that delivered both personal and financial growth.
“I never thought I’d be confident doing demos or sales,” she admits. “Coming out of my comfort zone was one of my proudest moments.”

She’s also proud she didn’t give up in the early years, when Thermomix® was unfamiliar and trust took time to build.
“It took about five years before people really understood it. But once they did — everything changed.”
What’s kept her inspired are the people and the stories.
From customers who never cooked learning to prepare meals with confidence, to families managing allergies with peace of mind, to parents watching fussy eaters become adventurous — Anne has seen firsthand how Thermomix® changes lives.
“One customer stopped me in the street just to hug me and say thank you,” she recalls. “Those moments stay with you.”
For Anne, Thermomix® has delivered far more than cooking.
“It’s given me personal growth, lifelong friendships, financial stability, flexibility and the chance to travel to places I never imagined,” she says. “We’re always learning and growing together.”

Then. Now. Always: Looking ahead
As Thermomix® celebrates 25 years in Australia, Anne’s journey mirrors the brand’s story — built on belief, community and a shared love of food.
“Thermomix® is my cooking buddy,” she says. “But it’s also my connection to people. It brings families together — and in my case, it’s brought an entire community into my life.”
And when asked what she’d say to someone considering becoming a Thermomix® Consultant today?
“Do it,” Anne says. “You won’t look back. It’s an incredible journey — and you won’t regret it.”
After 25 years, Anne’s story is a reminder that Thermomix® isn’t just about innovation in the kitchen.
It’s about people.
It’s about impact.
And it’s about staying — then, now and always.
