Dad, Consultant, Cook: Meet Jeremy  

When Jeremy’s wife first brought a Thermomix® into their kitchen, he had no idea what it was. Fast forward a few years, and not only is he cooking up restaurant-quality meals on the regular, he’s also a proud Thermomix® Consultant, juggling demos, cooking classes and dad life with ease (with a few good Dad jokes along the way). 

This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating Jeremy’s story - because it’s proof that a Thermomix® can change the way you cook, and that becoming a Consultant can change so much more. 

 

From “meat and three veg” to trying anything 

I was a very basic cook,” Jeremy admits. “But Thermomix® makes everything so easy, and it’s given me so much confidence in the kitchen. I’ll try anything now. 

What started with him scrolling through Cookidoo® recipes quickly turned into a whole new way of cooking. “The old meat and three veg has taken a backseat - now I’ll try anything. The presentation might not always be perfect, but the flavour always is! 

How he became a Consultant (thanks to his wife) 

When a friend suggested his wife should join as a Consultant, she didn’t miss a beat: “I don’t have time - Jeremy should! 

And that’s exactly what happened. Within days, Jeremy had signed up. “I’ve loved every minute of it. The demos, the variety, meeting new people, presenting at cooking classes, and all the amazing support from the Thermomix® community - it’s been incredible. 

 

Family first, flexibility always 

Between full-time work, school, and kids’ activities every night of the week, life is full. But being a Thermomix® Consultant fits in seamlessly. 

I love how flexible it is. I can organise demos and classes around our schedule. The kids even get involved - sometimes choosing Cookidoo ® recipes, sometimes helping at demos, but mostly taste testing,” Jeremy laughs. 

And he’s proud of the life skills his kids are learning along the way. “I feel like I’m giving them a good head start with knowledge about food and nutrition. 

Favourite moments (and favourite recipes) 

For Jeremy, Father’s Day usually means a big family brekky (Cookidoo® American pancakes, of course), followed by a picnic at the local kite festival. And while he might not be allowed in the kitchen that morning, he’s usually the one inspiring his kids to cook. 

They recently made bunny cupcakes all on their own - I was nervous, but they were amazing! I just need to teach them to clean up after themselves. 

As for family dinners? “Creamy ‘Marry Me’ Chicken Pasta is a favourite. My son loves to make it, and when the kids cook, they eat without complaining. That’s a big win. 

 

What he loves most about being a dad (and a Consultant) 

Jeremy takes great pride in the groans his Dad jokes get — “the bigger the groan, the better- but he also loves the lessons his kids teach him in return. “Every day is different, some days are smooth sailing and others are chaos, but being able to instill good values and learn from them is so rewarding. 

It’s the same with being a Thermomix® Consultant. Every day is different, but it’s always rewarding – and a creative reprieve from the day job.The launch of TM7 was incredible to be part of - the excitement, the community, the build-up. It was such a privilege.
