Caring for your Ovana Pizza Oven

Looking after your Ovana

With Ovana Portable Pizza Oven you will get perfectly crispy, stone-baked pizzas every time thanks to the porcelain Ovana Pizza Stone.

Whilst designed for heat retention and durability, the pizza stone is still fragile and must be handled with care when removing. Make sure the pizza stone has cooled completely before cleaning and avoid using soap or detergent as it can absorb into the stone. Instead, scrape off any food or crumbs with an Ovana Bamboo Brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Storing Ovana

Once your Ovana is clean, ensure the unit is completely dry before storing or covering to help avoid rust. It's important to store the Ovana in a dry and well-ventilated area when not in use and avoid exposure to extreme weather or humidity.

An Ovana Pizza Oven Stand is a great way to move your pizza oven from A to B and you can get a Ovana Long Length Cover to keep your Ovana protected when not in use too.

Travelling with Ovana

The best part of your Ovana Pizza Oven? It's portability! If you want pizzas by the beach, in the park or on the road whilst camping, just pack it up in a Carry Cover and away you go. Just don't forget your gas bottle!

Caring for your Ovana Sizzle Pan

Before using your Ovana Sizzle Pan for the first time, wash in warm water with mild soap and a soft cloth, rinse and dry with a tea towel before seasoning. To season you can coat the cast iron pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil and bake upside down in the oven for 1 hour. It's important to maintain the seasoning of your cast iron cookware to avoid food sticking.

When it comes to cleaning, don't fear, our trusty stainless steel Cast Iron Scrubber is a saviour and will easily remove the stubbornest of foods and marinades without fuss or detergent.
