There are so many ways that you can learn new tricks with your Thermomix®, whether that’s through friends, family, Cookidoo® or the Recipe Community. But what about attending a Thermomix® cooking class? That’s right, we run regular cooking classes that’ll teach you new techniques and recipes! And, if you can’t make an in-person class, we also run virtual ones! Click here to see all our upcoming classes, there’s sure to be one for you!

If you’re not ready to attend a class just yet, how about trying a new recipe weekly on Cookidoo®? There’s over 80,000 recipes to choose from worldwide and while you’re at it, you can also rate the recipes to tell us if you love it or hate it.

3. Shop seasonally

When we choose fruits and vegetables in their prime season, we’re sure to be treated with an array of fresh, vibrant flavours that can’t be produced by out-of-season produce. Shopping seasonally also caters to the budget-conscious and adventurous foodie in us.

Beyond flavour and cost savings, it also gives us that little push to trying new recipes and enjoying a variety of flavours and nutrients throughout the year. So, whether it’s the crisp freshness of spring greens, the juicy sweetness of summer berries, or the hearty warmth of autumn squashes, shopping seasonally is a win all year-round!

Tip: Use the ingredient search on Cookidoo® to find recipes that use whatever seasonal ingredient you find at the grocery store or farmer's market.

4. Save (on the grocery bill)

With over 28 cooking functions, there is so much you can create at home instead of buying from the shop. Not only will you notice the savings from DIY, you’ll also avoid those additives and preservatives that can sometimes be hiding in store bought options.

If you’re up for the challenge, why not choose at least one item from our savings calculator to make instead of buying each week? You’ll soon see the impact on your grocery bill; start saving today.

5. Have fun!

Don't forget to have fun with your new year resolutions too. Relive your childhood with a waffle cone maker and our Beat the heat collection. It's waffly good fun and easy, and a whole lot healthier and cheaper to make your own preservative and additive free crispy golden-brown cones, cups and bowls. Enjoy a sweet treat while basking in the summer sun.
