In 1971, the first Thermomix® reached customers bringing to life the idea of a high-powered blender that could simultaneously prep and heat ingredients. It was a game changer, to say the least and the springboard from which we've launched.
Fast forward to 2021 and the Vorwerk® engineers in Europe have been consistently evolving our Thermomix®, reaching new heights with each model released. Our smart, connected TM6 is our best model yet, replacing over 20 appliances - it packs a huge punch for such a compact, sleek unit.
Not only that, the TM6 is ‘smart at heart’ with a large touch screen, built-in Wi-Fi enabling guided cooking, and 20 functions and 13 pre-set modes. It also seamlessly connects to our recipe library, Cookidoo®, unlocking thousands of triple-tested recipes suitable for novice cooks to gourmet chefs.
With regular software updates delivering improvements straight to the appliance, and new recipes being consistently added to Cookidoo®, we are proud to say Thermomix® TM6 keeps getting better with age.

Over the past 50 years, Thermomix® as an appliance has made leaps and bounds in innovation, pioneering ideas, and changing the way we cook at home. When Grace and Witek brought Thermomix® to Australia in 2001, and New Zealand in 2009, their mission was clear: to impact lives for the better, enabling quicker, healthier, more delicious food for everyday families and empowering people in the community with the opportunity to start their own Thermomix® businesses.
A lot has changed over the years – we, as a business, are bigger and better known, and even Thermomix® itself has evolved and continues to do so. But what really matters hasn’t changed and never will. It’s that same fundamental belief we are creating something incredible together – starting in our own homes.
We’re so excited to celebrate 50 years of Thermomix® with you (it’s her golden jubilee after all), as well as our milestone 20th anniversary in Australia this year.
