Plum Sauce
Our Plum Sauce is a smooth and sticky condiment that brings sweetness, tartness and a little bit of spice to whatever dish it accompanies. It’ll keep for 2 weeks when stored in the fridge which is just enough time for you to enjoy all of its uses. Here are some of our favourites.
- Serve with Peking-Style Duck Pancakes or our Five Spice Duck with Asian Greens
- Basting sauce for duck, chicken and pork
- Substitute for the Bourbon BBQ Glaze in Nico Moretti’s Pork Ribs
- Stir fry sauce for chicken and vegetables
- A dipping sauce for wontons, dumplings and spring rolls.
Asian Dipping Sauce
Dip dip hooray for our Asian Dipping Sauce! This versatile sauce can be served simply with steamed scallops or prawns and makes a great dipping sauce for spring rolls and rice paper rolls.
Vietnamese Jackfruit Rice Paper Rolls
It also doubles as a salad dressing for a salad made with shredded carrot, cabbage and spring onions.
Miso Dressing
Our Miso Dressing is the star of our Miso Coleslaw from Eat Well and can transform any simple salad into a showstopper, adding extra nutrition and flavour. Here are some of our favs:
Hoi Sin Sauce
Making your own Hoi Sin Sauce is a great way to cut down on added additives and preservatives. And with our recipe, it takes just a few minutes from scratch. In addition to subbing in for any recipe that uses Hoi Sin Sauce, you can also serve with Steamed Pork Pancakes, Char Siu Bao Pork Buns and Asian Chicken Noodle Salad.
Peanut Butter Fudge Sauce
It’s all a matter of perspective about whether it’s a good, or very bad idea, to be just a few ingredients and minutes away from this warm Peanut Butter Fudge Sauce.
When warm, you’ll want to pour oven vanilla ice cream, ricotta pancakes, or use as a dipping sauce for churros.
When cooled you can also substitute for hazelnut chocolate spread in our Pancake and Fruit Kebabs and Hazelnut Chocolate Brioche.
Magic Chocolate Sauce
This chocolate sauce topping goes hard when it touches cold items, like ice cream, forming a crispy, crunchy shell. Our version is so easy and much healthier than store bought options and it’ll store in the pantry for up to a month!
Drizzle over our Ice Cream Cookie Bowls or serve with your favourite ice cream flavour – we can’t go past the Hokey Pokey or try Louise Keats Strawberry Almond Gelato for a healthier treat.
You can also drizzle this sauce over your homemade popsicles.
