The blond type wood means it stains and marks way too easily 😔
Thanks for your feedback Charles. Due to the natural material, this chopping board does need a little extra care. We recommend oiling it before the first use, and every couple of months after use to keep it in tip-top condition for years to come.
Cleaning your cutting board is easy too. After each use, simply wet a cloth with warm, soapy water, give your board a scrub and let it stand on its side to allow all surfaces to dry out completely. Never soak your Thermomix Chopping Board in water, or wash it in the dishwasher, as this may cause the wood to crack or warp.
We have included care instructions that can be found here https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0091/9532/3470/files/Cutting_board_Instructions_A5.pdf?v=1614840950 for extra guidance. I hope that helps.
